EPPING, NH- A date and location has now been finalized
to hold a meeting and registration day for the newly
formed Tour-Type Modified division at the renamed Star
Speedway in Epping, New Hampshire. The meeting, set for
March 19 at 1:00 PM will take place at the Epping
American Legion, located on Route 125, just one mile
north of Route 101, across from Telly's Restaurant.
Among the topics being discussed will be the new rules
package, tire allotments and procedures, handicapping,
race procedures, points awarded and point fund
distribution plans. Modified division coordinator Bobby
Webber Jr., and head Tech Inspector Pete Frappier will
be on hand to inform and answer questions from
prospective race teams.
Modified race teams will also be able to register their
cars during the meeting time. Competitors from all other
Star Speedway divisions will also be allowed to register
during the meeting's tile slot, from 1-3:00PM.
The meeting is an effort to clear up any possible
concerns about rules and procedures, while at the same
time allow any competing race team to register for the
2011 race season in person. For continuing updates on
