Four & Eight Cylinder Enduro Cars Make First Appearance of 2011 at Star Speedway

EPPING, NH- The third race of the 2011 season this Saturday night, May 28 will be a bit different than the first two, as the popular Star Speedway Four and Eight Cylinder Enduro cars make their first appearance at the quarter-mile to help celebrate the Memorial Day weekend.

Known as the ideal track for this type of racing, the Enduro teams are ready for another night of memorable fun that is sure to bring a crowd-pleasing night of thrills and spills.

The EKeys 4 Cars Modified division is also on the schedule, and this third race of the season will find the top teams gunning for that all important point lead. The standings leader after their 40-lap event will be a guaranteed starter for the LATICRETE SBM 125 at the track on June 4th. That race carries a purse in excess of $32,000.

With Jon McKennedy not expected in the lineup due to his touring series commitments, David Pinkham, Josh Cantara, Mike Murphy and Richard Savary appear to have the best chance of securing the guaranteed spot on Saturday evening. All three are expected to represent Star and EKeys 4 Cars at the lucrative June 4 event.

Other divisions competing on Saturday, May 28 will be the Rookie Stocks and Roadrunners. The Enduro events will cap off a full night of racing excitement at the track, "Where Champions are Made". Touring series 2010 Champions who became winners in their racing careers at Star are: Russ Wood (ISMA) Bobby Santos (WMT) and Jon McKennedy (VMRS).

Who will be the next tour champion to come from Star Speedway? Come to the track Saturday night and make you predictions. Admission for this special event is just $12 for adults, with kids under 10 admitted free of charge. For more information log on to our web site at: www.star-speedway.com.
