EPPING, NH- In this case, two is better than one. The
Star Speedway in Epping, New Hampshire will be the place
this weekend to see Twin 25's for the Tour-Type
Modifieds, with no admission increase.
Last week the Modifieds ran off their 40-lap feature
event without a single caution period. With the shorter
races, fans can expect the unexpected, including some
new feature winners. The first feature will be lined up
based on the reward system of how many cars drivers pass
in the heat races. A partial field invert will set the
field for a second race, virtually ensuring two feature
winners.
The event will also carry double points, with the
championship standings much closer than they were prior
to last week's race. As a result, this night could
change the complexion of the title chase once again.
Also on the racing schedule, beginning at 6:06 PM this
Saturday night, will be the Rookie Stocks, Roadrunners,
and the return of the V-6 Modifieds, who had an
entertaining race in their first outing at Star.
Even with the double feature program, the track will
hold admission prices to regular show levels. Adult
admission is only $12, with Juniors aged 11-15 entering
at $6. Kids aged 10 and under are always admitted free
of charge.
