EPPING, NH- With the 2012 auto racing season already
nearing a midway point, the Star Speedway, located on
Route 27 in Epping, New Hampshire has a celebration
planned for this Saturday night, highlighted by a
fireworks display from Atlas Fireworks that will rival
the best displays ever held at the racey quarter-mile
oval.
Since 1950, Atlas has entertained millions of audiences
from Florida to Canada. Atlas has gained the reputation
of providing unique and inspiring pyrotechnic
presentations for municipalities, corporate events,
professional sports and weddings.
In addition to that, there might just be some fireworks
on the track as well when the EKeys Tour-Type Modifieds
run their first event in three weeks. Maine rivals Jacob
Dore and Josh Cantara are separated by just 18 points
with eight Modified race nights remaining on their 2012
Star Speedway schedule.
Both are returing after a very successful showing in the
SBM 125 Modified Open on June 16. They will also have to
contend with Richard Savary, Vinny Annarummo, Steve
Dickey and Mike Douglas Jr., who have all shown the
ability to make it to victory lane already this season.
The pit area will once again be full on Saturday night
because the Allen's Outlaw Late Models are back for
another exciting night of full-fendered action as well.
Jimmy Renfrew leads the Outlaw standings, but "Rocket"
Rob MacRae and Joe Squeglia Jr., are poised for victory
to close the gap.
Also on the Saturday card are the Kimball Auto Body
Roadrunners and the Woody's Auto Strickly Stocks.
Admission for this special event to celebrate our
nations birthday is only $15 for adults, with seniors
and students admitted for just $10, with kids 10 and
under FREE. For raceday updates visit the official Star
Speedway Facebook page. More information is also
