EPPING, NH- The EKeys 4 Cars Tour-Type Modifieds resume
their race season on Saturday night after a wild double
feature program last weekend, and the Outlaw Late Models
return this weekend as well, with very close point races
in both divisions.
Just one point separates Maine drivers David Pinkham and
Josh Cantara after both drivers had successful outings
in the twin features last Saturday. In a close race such
as this, every position counts, and fans should reap the
benefits by seeing some very competitive racing in the
40 lap EKeys 4 Cars feature event this weekend. With his
win last weekend, Richard Savary is also in the hunt,
less than 20 markers behind the lead duo.
The Outlaw Late Models have a close race of their own,
and with fewer events on the season schedule than the
Modifieds at Star, this 25-lap race takes on added
significance. Kevin Kephart leads Star veteran Mitch
Wendell by just three points heading into their event
this weekend. Billy Ryder and Shaun Waites are also
within 20 points of Kephart. The Outlaws have brought
fans some of the best racing seen in New England this
season.
The Roadrunners are led by Anthony Nadeau, and the
Rookie Stocks are paced by Chris Augevich. The
Roadrunners will be competing this weekend, on the heels
of an event last weekend that got fans out of their
seats, while the Rookie Stocks look to make it another
caution-free 20 lap feature event.
